For each Gift of Hope you buy, we will send you a beautiful card that you can then give to someone. The card describes the gift (e.g. beehives, pigs, etc) and includes places to write the name of the person you are giving to the gift to and your own name. You will also receive a charitable tax receipt for each gift.

Here are the different Gifts of Hope you can choose from:

Beehives and Training $30

Your gift will help HIV-positive youth who want to support themselves and enrich their communities to start a beekeeping business. $30 buys the materials for one hive or provides 3 days of training to one group member.

Chicks and Their Feed $65

Your gift will help grandmothers caring for their AIDS-orphaned grandchildren to start a poultry business. $65 buys 10 chicks and feed and medication for a year, along with other start-up costs.

Starting a Piggery $50 and $100

Your gift will help those living with HIV to start a piggery to support themselves and enrich their community. $50 buys one piglet. $100 buys feed, medication and other start-up costs.

Support to Foster Families $75

Your gift will help foster families to care for children who have lost their parents to AIDS for a month. $75 is what it takes to support one child in a foster family including food, clothing, school fees and medical attention).

Farm Expansion and Improvement $25

Your gift will help expand and improve a church-based farm used to grow food and provide support for foster families taking care of AIDS orphans.
